A tart, tasty tea with a bright green leaf. It is named by the shape, which looks remarkably like shot pellets or gunpowder. Upon infusion the leaf opens quickly to become large & flat.
Place 1/2 to 1 tsp of tea per 200ml cup into a tea pot or infuser with water just off the boil for 1 min. Steep for 2-3 mins then pour. The tea leaves can be infused several times. Drink 1-3 cups per day. May be sweetened with honey if desired.
